Director / Aesthetics Instructor
Claudette graduated from L’Institut Jon rayMond in 1996. In 2006, she became our owner and director following a 10-year career in aesthetics. During her time as a salon and spa owner, Claudette trained under international names such as Repêchage, Matis and Yonka. Her dedication to the beauty industry is second to none.
Makeup Program Instructor
Chantal Robichaud obtained her Makeup Artist diploma from the School of Makeup Art, Toronto in 1998 and her hairstyling diploma from L'Institut Jon Raymond in 2001. Mrs. Robichaud has been a makeup artist in the film industry for 20 years, working with many celebrities. She also owned a successful beauty studio, where she catered mostly to brides and special events makeup. Chantal is looking forward to educating and mentoring ambitious new makeup artists. She’s determined to pass on her knowledge, inspiring a new generation of artists with creativity, passion, and kindness.
Reception / Administration
Ms. DesRosiers has over 25 years of experience in business administration, accounting and customer service. In March 2010, she joined L’Institut Jon rayMond team in the administration department and is responsible for student admission, student loans. Training in Management, human relation and retail.
Hairstyling Program Instructor
After graduating from the Institute in 1985, Shelley worked as a professional hairstylist at the Jon rayMond beauty salon until 1993, when she began her teaching career. To perfect her technique, she has taken many professional courses including the Master Judges Program and the Pivot Point Scientific Approach Certified Instructor Course in Color, Cut, Texture and Long Hair (Up-Do).
Alesha Miller received her aesthetic diploma with honors in 2011 from L’Institut Jon rayMond and has since been gaining experience and education from spas in the Moncton area. Ms. Miller has a true passion for the aesthetic field and everything surrounding it. Being able to share her education with the aesthetic students at L’Institut Jon rayMond is a goal she has always aspired to achieve.
Aesthetics Program Instructor
Mrs. Boudreau has worked for the last 14 years in the cosmetology industry. She is a certified Level II instructor in aesthetic and medical care as well as a coach for Skills Canada competitions. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Boudreau has trained more than 300 students, many of whom are self-employed and are successful in their careers. Her passion in the aesthetics field is well known in the industry and that's why the student success is important to her.
Hairstyling Program Instructor
Taralynn graduated from L’Institut Jon rayMond with honors in 2012 and achieved the highest theory marks in the province for her year at the Cosmetology Association of NB. She began her career at Mastercuts and received learning opportunities in coloring techniques, technical cutting and updos. Becoming a teacher has always been her objective and she enjoys sharing her knowledge and her passion with the students.
MRS. CAROLINE NOWLAN
Head Make-up Artist
Caroline Nowlan is an alumnus of L’Institut Jon Raymond’s class of 1983 and that launched her on a full esthetic career which spanned 20 years in a spa on the outskirts of Toronto.
After 5 years of teaching, Mrs. Nowlan once again reinvented herself by accepting the position of Head Make-up Artist for a local television station.
Her varied career in every aspect of cosmetology brings a unique perspective to her teaching and will enhance students’ visions of the number of career possibilities open to them by having chosen to study in this field.
