HISTORY
In 1974 Mr. Raymond Thibodeau opened the province first bilingual Hairstyling & Aesthetics School, now considered one of Canada’s top beauty schools.
Since then, L'Institut Jon rayMond establish a world wide reputation of excellence as a cosmetology school and welcomed students from all over Canada, as well as some international students.
In 2006, he passed over the responsibility of his original Hairstyling and Aesthetic school to Mrs. Claudette Guimond and Mr. Bernard Morneau.
Mrs. Claudette Guimond

Mrs. Claudette Guimond became the owner and Director of L’Institut Jon rayMond, in 2006, following a distinguished 10 year career in aesthetics. Mrs. Guimond graduated from L’Institut Jon rayMond in 1996 with honors. During her 10 years as a Salon & Spa Owner she took advanced training with International names such as Repêchage, Matis, and Yonka to name a few, and a NBACC –Teaching Program (Adult Education). Her dedication in the Beauty Industry is second to none.
Mrs. Vienneau is a certified aesthetician since 2005. After opening her own Spa and working in several renowned aesthetic Salon in New-Brunswick, she is hired as a cosmetic manager in a well known drugstore chain. It is after many years of work experience that her passion for aesthetic leads her for a teaching career in aesthetic and Gel Nails.
Mrs. Vienneau has also many certifications including Micro-dermabrasion and advanced teaching and training.
Mrs. Vienneau has participated in many Skills Canada Competition as a trainer, where both students she trained placed first and second place in the province of N.-B. as well as second place in Canada.

Mrs. Shelley Stables-Lemay
Hairstyling program Instructor
Mrs. Shelley Lemay graduated from the Institute as a hairstylist with honors in 1985. She then joined the Jon rayMond beauty salon and worked as a professional hairstylist until 1993. Her hard work and dedication in the field of cosmetology enabled her to begin a teaching career at L’Institut Jon rayMond. Since then she has done many stage presentations in hair coloring, cutting techniques and hairstyling with some of Canada’s top educators, one of them being Mr. Frank Deninno of Montreal, Quebec (Canada). She has attended many courses to perfect her techniques, some of these courses include Master Judging Program through “Art and Science”, Pivot Point Scientific Approach Certified Instructor Course in Color, cut, texture and long hair program (up-do), a NBACC –Teaching Program (Adult Education) and also specialized courses in color and cuts from Goldwell and Joico.
Mrs. Gisèle Martin-Veilleux

Mrs. Gisèle Martin-Veilleux graduated from L’Institut Jon rayMond as a hairstylist in 2000. She worked as a professional hairstylist at Smart Style Salon for a period of seven years. During those years she took several advanced courses in perfecting her techniques in color and cuts with the company Regis Ltd. She acquires enough experience and knowledge to achieve a manager position by interval. With L’Institut Jon rayMond she continued to follow other courses to perfect her techniques, some of these courses include Master Judging Program through “Art and Science”, Pivot Point course in color, cuts and texture, NBACC – Teaching Program (Adult Education) and also specialized courses in color and cuts from Goldwell and Joico.
Mrs. Marie-Claude Duguay

Ever since a young age, Mme Duguay had a considerably vast admiration for the hairstyling practice. In 2006, when it came for her time to choose a post secondary education, it came to no surprise that she picked L'Institute Jon rayMond to perfect her skills. Ever since, she accumulated work experience through a couple of well known salon like Picasso Salon, and Beauty Work. Mme Duguay learned also the most advanced techniques in cut with the well known stylist of worldwide company, like Pivot Point. For the last five years, she perfected her advanced techniques of color and color application with multiple companies like Joico, Goldwell and Matrix. Mme Duguay had a great interest in Hairstyling Competition; she participated 2 years at the ABA. Passionate by hairstyling, Mme Duguay is enthusiasm in joining the team of L'Institut Jon rayMond starting her new career as an instructor. Therefore, from her life experience, pass on her passion to the next generation of certified stylist.

Mrs. Mylene Duguay received her hairstylist diploma from L’Institut Jon rayMond in 2008. By working at Jon rayMond Salon and Regis Corporation, she acquired the work experience necessary to teach hairstyling. Previously, Mrs. Duguay attended 3 years at L’Université de Moncton in Education to improve her teaching skills. She took many courses such as human resources, public relations, sales, motivation, communication and time management. Mrs. Duguay continues to attend many courses in hairstyling to perfect her techniques, some of these courses includes Pivot Point Scientific Approach in cuts and long hair program (up-do), specialized courses in color and cuts from Goldwell, Wella and Joico.
